TERMS & CONDITIONS OF TRADING
Please only give us the car keys we require & leave any personal keys in your possession.
Vehicles in for work require road testing and this involves brief heavy braking to test brakes & suspension.
Please remove any breakable / valuable items that are not secured down.
During our workday, we discuss personal and confidential details of other customers, so it is standard practice to disconnect dash cams while the vehicle is in our care.
We have security cameras recording 24/7 throughout the workshop to ensure the safety of the vehicles.
Personal items left in vehicles, please remove anything of value, our insurance covers vehicles but not customers personal assets.
Unfortunately, we cannot fit supplied parts as it won’t be covered by our warranty or public liabilities cover.
It is the clients' responsibility to check their car can be serviced by us and will not void 2nd hand warranty.
We cannot hold responsibility for losing your stereo code when replacing the battery. Every effort is made to find the stereo code in your car’s paperwork, but sometimes codes can get lost & require removal of stereo or visiting dealership to recode – additional charges may occur.
Please supply the stereo code if any battery removal is required.
Due to an engineering error in Ford Rangers, Ford Everest & BT-50's (5 Cylinder Diesel Engines) it is possible for some engines to lose oil pressure when replacing engine oil during the service,
Due to this manufactures error, there is only a short window of opportunity to remove & replace the engine oil, it is possible that the engine will not re-pick up oil on these models.
Every care is taken to ensure this does not happen, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this manufacturer issue will not cause problems & further expense to the client.
Please ensure the car has fuel & registration for road testing purposes.
Warranty Disclaimer – Protune Mechanical
All repair and service work carried out by Protune Mechanical is covered by our standard warranty, subject to the following conditions:

Warranty Voidance:
This warranty is void if:-
The vehicle is taken to another workshop or service provider for any repairs or related diagnostic work without prior written consent from Protune Mechanical.

Protune Mechanical is not informed of issues or concerns related to our previous repair work before any further repairs or inspections are carried out elsewhere.

Any third-party alterations, repairs, or tampering with work previously performed by Protune Mechanical is identified.

Return Requirement:
In the event of any concerns or faults relating to our previous work, the vehicle must be returned to Protune Mechanical for inspection and any necessary repairs. Failure to do so will void the warranty. -
Notification Obligation:
Customers must notify Protune Mechanical of any problems related to our repairs as soon as they are noticed. Delays in reporting issues may impact warranty coverage.
This warranty disclaimer forms part of our terms and conditions and is acknowledged upon acceptance of our services.
When your service booking is completed you will received the following confirmations.
1. A Booking Confirmation SMS.
2. A Booking Confirmation Email detailing your Service Date, Details of the Service Booked and a receipt of your Payment.
3. A Reminder SMS the day before your Booking.
4. A Itemised Invoice will also be provided to you on the day of your Service by Reception.
The Option to Pay at Pick Up on the Service Day is available with all Bookings.
Therefore you may book your service and pay on the service date. Payment in advance is not required to make your service booking. It is provided only as an option for your convenience and to streamline our service.
If your would like to Book and Pay for your Service in Advance, Booking may be paid for up to two weeks in advance of Service Date.
All Payments are Fully Refundable if Booking is Cancelled or Amended before the Service Day.
